If you are an LMT/CMT please check with your state board of massage to see what is currently allowed for renewing your license.

Most states allow some online NCBTMB credit hours.

New York Massage Therapy

Nirvana Massage is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider.

Nirvana Massage CE National is sponsored by NCBTMB to teach New York LMTs continuing education that is accepted by the state of New York for license renewal.

(The only five classes not approved for NY are Prevention of Med Errors, Managing a Massage Business and MRSA. All others are fine!!

These five classes are NOT approved for New York:

BUSINESS OF MASSAGE
MRSA
REIKI: AN INTRODUCTION
SELF-CARE: HEART HEALTH AND MASSAGE

New York State Board of Massage will accept hours from us but you must take these necessary steps:

Complete your hours with Nirvana Massage CE National, LLC (limit testing to three classes daily)
Notify us that you are completely done with your 36 hours for renewal
We'll email your information to the NCBTMB so they can REVISE your certificates.
The NCBTMB will email your revised certificates to you.
You send them to the NYS Board of Massage or save them for your records.

It is our understanding that Washington requires massage therapists to complete 24 CE hours every 2 years for license renewal. Of the 24 CE Hours, 4 CE hours must be inethics, communication and/or Washington state massage laws and rules, 2 of the 4 ethics CE hours must include professional roles and boundaries. Washington D.C. Massage Therapy

Continuing Education Requirements

It's our understanding that Washington, D.C. requires massage therapists to complete 12 CE hours every two years. Of the 12 CE hours, 3 CE hours must be in ethics and 9 CE hours must massage-related course work. West Virginia Massage Therapy
