Massage therapists and bodyworkers come into direct contact with potential pathogens with each client they treat. Precautions for controlling infectious agents must be followed. These include the Universal Precautions outline by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. This course is a review of what is taught in massage school. Also reviewed are Blood Borne Pathogen recommendations by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA).
